ENRG SPOTLIGHT: Alexa Kebalo - The Voice of a New Generation in Real Estate
Born Into the Business, Driven to Do More
Alexa Kebalo, ENRG Realty Connecticut
For Alexa Kebalo, real estate isn’t just a profession—it’s practically part of her DNA. Growing up watching her mother, Cheryl, own and operate multiple RE/MAX offices across Connecticut, Alexa learned early on what it meant to lead with both hustle and heart. Her first taste of the industry came during college, working the front desk at one of her mother’s offices—conveniently located inside a Stop & Shop supermarket. “It was brilliant,” she recalls. “Like a bank in a grocery store, but for real estate.”
From that unconventional starting point, Alexa launched into a career marked by passion, purpose, and a deep commitment to service and community. Fourteen years later, she’s a recognized leader, an advocate for wellness and equity in the industry, and a driving force behind ENRG Realty’s future in Connecticut.
From Listings to Legislation
While Alexa made her name in listings and sales, her impact extends far beyond transactions. She quickly gravitated toward leadership and advocacy, founding the Young Professionals Network (YPN) in her local association and later becoming the youngest president in the 100-year history of her region’s Realtor organization. Today, she serves as president-elect of the Connecticut Association of Realtors, shaping policy and protecting the dream of homeownership at the state and national levels.
“I love the American dream,” Alexa says. “But more than that, I love making sure it’s accessible and equitable for everyone.” From meeting with lawmakers in D.C. to working with Journey Home Connecticut to help end homelessness, Alexa brings an uncommon sense of purpose to her work—and uses every platform she has to make a difference.
Healing, Hustling, and Helping Others
In 2019, at the peak of her professional success, Alexa faced a personal health crisis: her voice began mysteriously giving out during meetings and negotiations. Dozens of doctors couldn’t explain it—until a breathing therapist finally did. The culprit? Chronic stress and shallow breathing. “I was running on adrenaline for years,” she said. “I didn’t even realize I wasn’t breathing properly.”
That experience led to a full-life reset. Alexa dove into wellness, spirituality, yoga, and Pilates—healing her voice and redefining her mission. Today, she uses that voice not just in meetings, but every Tuesday morning on WFSB Channel 3’s Great Day at 9A, where she serves as a housing market expert for CBS.
She’s also on a mission to help other agents avoid burnout. To combat this, Alexa has brought a first responder wellness curriculum—originally developed for law enforcement—to the real estate community through partnership with “Resilient Minds on the Front Lines”. “This industry needs healing,” she says. “And I want to be part of that change.”
Joining ENRG: A Platform for Purpose
Alexa’s decision to join ENRG Realty, alongside her mother, wasn’t just a move—it was a calling. After years at other brokerages she was ready for a company that aligned more closely with her values.
“I wanted to build something meaningful with people who lead with integrity and vision,” she said. “The leadership at ENRG has done this before, and they’re doing it again, but better.”
What sealed the deal? ENRG’s emphasis on culture over quotas. The ENRG model is built on collaboration, not pressure—one that Alexa believes will attract the majority of the industry who have felt left out of the rev-share conversation.
Sunshine, Spirituality, and Service
When she’s not shaping real estate policy or appearing on TV, you’ll find Alexa outdoors—walking, hiking, paddleboarding, or soaking up the sun. After two back surgeries, wellness is no longer a luxury—it’s a priority. She practices yoga, Pilates and cherishes time with her close-knit family and community.
“My happy place is outside with my laptop and coffee,” she laughs. “But I also love gathering people, creating connections, and building community—whether it’s through business or over dinner.”
Leading With Heart, Living With Purpose
At ENRG, Alexa has found a place where her values and vision align. As she steps into this next chapter, she brings with her a powerful blend of industry knowledge, leadership experience, and a deep belief in doing well by doing good.
“This isn’t just about real estate,” she says. “It’s about lifting others up, creating change, and building something that lasts.”
